Transforming NAMA Engineering: A Revolution in Printed Circuit Design and Fabrication

Workshop, planning and Logistics engineers of the Nigerian airspace management agency have ingeniously developed an Adjustable Timer Circuit, a boost to its circuit board design and fabrication capacity. This printed circuit board, crafted by the skilled hands of Workshop, Planning, and Logistics (WPL) engineers, serves as a versatile timer for various power-driven equipment. With its adaptability, it can seamlessly integrate into any appliance requiring timed functionality.

Following the successful completion of the Printed Circuit Board Design and Fabrication (PCBDAF) training at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Zaria (NCAT) where representatives from diverse engineering departments participated, the engineers paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Engr. A.U. Farouk and the Director of Safety Electronics and Engineering Services (DSEES), Engr. Terese Ijeoma Ihenachor in Abuja. The MD/CE expressed pride as the director’s vision is becoming a reality with NAMA engineers now crafting cutting-edge solutions for a brighter future. He also sends the team best wishes on their continued success.

This initiative underscores their commitment to enhancing NAMA’s capability to design, construct, and maintain electronic equipment. The timer printed circuit board was designed by the following: Engr. Ebibinabo ThankGod Ode, Engr. Nathan Nwachukwu, Engr. Aro Akintunde Michael, Engr. Lilian Uzodiagu, Engr. Chinedu Amaikwu, Engr. Abubakar Isah, Engr. Temitope Akinsola, Engr. Chukwuebuka Enwereji, Engr. Sadiq Mohammed, Engr. Aliyu Haladu and Engr. Toochi Unagwu

By empowering NAMA engineers with the skills to design, modify, and repair circuit boards, the agency aims to curtail costs, minimize service downtime, and boost revenue generation.
