The Administration Department is saddled with the responsibility of implementing the Administrative policies of the Agency as well as the following specific programmes:-
General Administration: Office allocation, Maintenance of office Equipment, Management and control of the Agency’s Reception and Car parks.
Security: To provide Security for the CNS Equipments Locations and Installations and entire Agency’s Properties and residences nationwide by coordinating all cadres of security personnel including Legionnaires, Supernumerary Police and Private Security outfits.
Constantly recommend proactive measures to the management for the safety of the Agency’s facilities which manifests in the installation of security gadgets at various critical equipment locations.
Security issues and request from outstation are subjected to proper assessment and review before approval recommendation to the management.
Ensures that Access controls to the sites where Communications, Navigational and Surveillance equipments are located are properly integrated and those to access them are adequately identified.
Ensures timely payment of monthly salaries of the outsourced security personnel, to avoid compromising security unknowingly.
Recommends adequate training and retraining programmes to Human Resources department for security personnel to bring them up –to –date on modern security operations.
ID card: Issuance and renewal of staff ID cards, Maintain periodic update of Database etc.
Environment: To maintain a healthy, clean and safe Environment of the Agency through the coordination of all cadres of hired Cleaners, Gardeners and Cleaning Companies.
Reception management: provides manning and ensures compliance with the Agency’s visiting days.
Office Allocation: allocate offices to staff as at when due.
AVSEC: Active involvement in the production, review, and updating of the mandatory ICAO-Specific Aviation Security Manual in liaison with NCAA,
Police Community Relations Committee: Active member in the Police Airport community relation committee.
Repair and Maintenance: Repair and maintenance of office equipment and furniture.
Motor Vehicles: Coordination and Vehicle Control at the car parks.
