Charges & Fees
Fee paying subscribers shall, as evidence for collection of Nigeria Aeronautical Information Publications, send a copy of the receipt of payment or electronic transfer details to:

- Calendar year =January 1st - December 31st
- Local fee paying subscribers may be billed at the prevailing CBN Naira equivalent rate.
- All additional charges, such as bank commission, transfer fee, taxes, will be paid by the Remitter/ Subscriber.

Commercial Charges
I. En-route charge
These are charges and fees levied for the provision of Enroute Navigational Services (excluding Approach and Aerodrome Control Navigation Services) for both International and Domestic flights landing within the Nigerian Airspace.
The charge takes into account the distance flown and less than proportionately, the Aircraft Weight. It is applied on a per flight bases and is equal to the product of the unit rate (R). The weight factor (W) and the distance (D).
Unit Rate/ Minimum charge:
International flight (Code NIR): $70R03;& Domestic flight S58; 2,000
II. Over-flight charges
These are fees /charges for the use of Navigational facilities from an Entry Point to an Exit Point within the Nigerian Airspace without intermediate landing. It is charged in line with global best practice.
Unit Rate/ Minimum charge:
Over flyer (code NIG): $75
III. Terminal Navigation Charge (TNC)
These are charges and fees levied for the provision of Approach and Aerodrome Control Navigation Services at Nigerian Airports/ Aerodromes. It was introduced in June 5, 2008 in line with ICAO recommendations after due consultation and agreement with both Domestic and International Airline Operators. The charge takes into account, less than proportionately, the aircraft weight. It is applied on a per flight bases and is equal to the product of the Unit Rate (R) and the weight factor (W).
Unit Rate/ Minimum charge:
- International flight: USD $199
- Domestic flight: S58;6,000
Other Charges
- Processing fee (Casual Operations) - $30
- Extension of Service Charge – N50,000. (This is charged for services requested outside normal hours of operation).
- Geological Survey (Navigation) - $150 per hour.
- Training Flights – N6,000 per flight ( take-off and landing)
- Fresh Application for ICAO 3-letter Designator/ Code - $5,500
- Application for modification of Approval (as in e above) - $4,500
- Letter of Confirmation of a previous Approval - $1,000
- Sales of Maps/Charts and AIP- Charges range from $50 - $2,000 depending on the size/contents and the Nationality of the Operators
- Annual Registration Fee for Airlines’ Handlers/Agents – N250,000 per annum.
- Violation of Airspace -$20,000
