THE ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
Administration Department is headed by a General Manager. The Department is responsible for the following functions:
Housing
- Provision of office accommodation and furniture to Staff
- Provision of duty houses for Airspace Managers and Contract ATCOs
- Allocation of Official residential quarters to deserving Staff
- Tenancy renewals
- Monitoring facility maintenance
- Provision of hostels for ATCO Cadets during On-The-Job Training (OJT)
- Interfacing with property owners when the need arises
- Facility tours to outstations periodically.
- Interfacing with Estate, Legal and Security Departments of the Agency on issues relating to the Agency’s properties.
Security
- Management of NAMA Security in compliance with ICAO Annex 17, Doc 8973 and National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP)
- Development of the Agency’s Security manuals and Close liaison with the AVSEC Department of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
- Supervision of the Agency;s secueity personnel (Police, Legionnaire, Outsources Security Personnel).
- Training of Security Personnel in compliance with the National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP)
- Security assessment inspection and survey of the Agency’s NAVAIDS.
- Investigation of reported security breach.
- Arrangement of armed security escort for the movement of the Agency’s critical assets.
Staff ID Card
- Issuance, periodic renewals and replacement of Identity Cards for all Staff of the Agency.
- Issuance of passes to Interns and members of the National Youth Service Corps.
- Implementation of the Agency’s Staff ID Card Policies
- Issuance of ID cards to cover contractors and consultants working in the Agency’s facilities.
- Processing retirement ID cards for retirees.
Environment
- Supervision of Cleaners/Gardeners at all the Agency’s facilities
- Fumigation
- Preparation of monthly stipends for Cleaners/Gardeners
- Horticulture
- Preparing monthly allowances for Contractors responsible for outsourced functions at all NAMA facilities
- General environment and supervision.
