The Procurement Department’s functions are stated below:    

 
       
Initiate policies and establish procedures relating to purchase.
Undertake periodic price/market survey so as to be abreast with price environment.
Advertisement and placement of procurement notices for all goods, works & consultancy services to be procured by the Agency.
Initiating issuance of jobs to registered contractors in liaison with user department.
Issuing of LPO/Job Order after appropriate approval from the Managing.
Director/Chief Executive or the Parastatal Tenders Board as the case may be.
Facilitating all the Agency’s import needs by ensuring that all necessary.
Formalities needed are carried out before goods are imported.
Provide inputs for the preparation of the departmental budget for inclusion in the Agency’s budget.
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
