VISION: To be one of the leading Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) in the world. MISSION: To provide safe, efficient, effective and economic Air Navigation Services to airspace users, through deployment of new technologies and dedicated workforce.

The unit is designed to provide and process traveling documents for officers of the Agency nominated on officials’ tours aboard, as well as ministry of aviation officials as may be directed by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

FUNCTIONS

  1. Processing of Standard Passports, Ecowas Travel Certificates, Laize pase etc.
  2. Processing of visa, renewal and new procurements, as well as Transit visas.
  3. Procurement of air tickets and planning of itinerary of officers on official trips.
  4. Processing of yellow cards i.e. Vaccination cards for officers on foreign trips.
  5. Processing of hotel and guest house arrangement in favor of officials may be directed by the Managing Director/CEO
  6. Handling of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and ministry officials on airport protocol: check-in of passengers, customs, NDLEA, Quarantine clearance as well as logistics for returning officials on arrival from oversea trips.
  7. Protocol unit is responsible for liaison between traveling officials and the ministry of foreign affairs in the processing of foreign ministry note verbale.
  8. Protocol unit serves as official handler of ICAO officials during inspection tours of facility in Nigeria.
